Each morning as I awake, I'm so grateful for His faithfulness because it is fresh every morning.

Why 'knowing' is important
John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
As a child of God, His Word should be or is truth for me! This comes back to the importance of knowing what the Word says. I need to get into the routine of reading, praying and meditating on the Word. I need to know what the Bible says about my situation and about who I am because of Christ.
When I know the truth, I can look at everything through the lenses of what the Bible tells me because the Bible is God speaking to me!

Object of your FAITH
What is the
object of your faith?
What is the
source of your faith?
Where do you
get your faith from?
Is it coming
from the people around you or the situation you are in?
How big is
your faith?
As I was
listening to the sermon, these questions really captured my attention. When I
place my faith in the people around me or the situation I am in, I am bound to
be disappointed.
I have to know
more about God. The more I know about God, the bigger my faith in Him becomes –the
bigger my faith grows.
When my
relationships or my situations fail me, my faith will not change because the
object of my faith is way above it all.
What is your
faith in ?
My faith is in
God alone!
The object of
your faith determines the quantity (size) of your faith!
The source of
your faith determines the quality of your faith!

Word of His Power
And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. Heb. 1:3
God used His Words to create the universe. When He spoke, His words and the letters which form them, brought light and calm to the chaos. The universe continues to be upheld by the word of His power (Hebrews 1:3). These letters of light is what I will continue to hold on to. I believe it will bring calm to any chaos. This is the Word of God that won't return to Him void. AMEN!

It's You Alone

This morning as I read Isaiah 25 again, it stirred up my desire to know this God even more. When my eyes are fixed on Him, His faithfulness which is so 'spot-on' and perfect becomes my shield. By reading His Words and allowing His Words to speak to my heart it strengthens my faith in the shield.
May there be no other God except Him alone! When I seek Him first and thirst for His Presence, everything else will seem so insignificant. Why would I worry about what concerns me because I know that He reminds me through His promises '..... all these things will be added unto you' (Matt.6:33). Just as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it yield seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it (Isa.55:10-11).
My prayer this morning was: That the Lord would help me not to form ties, bond or roots with the material possessions He has blessed me with because when these ties become so promininent they would become idols. I would worry about them and when I worry about them, it would belittle my faith in His steadfast promises.
